I’m so excited to share my inaugral piece that I wrote, and that was published by the music publication ‘The Riff’ via medium.com last week, whoop whoop…
As a personal philosophy, I often state that it is important to give people their flowers whilst they are in a space to receive them.
Should we have the means to celebrate the substantial contributions that individuals are making to our lives, whether they are near or far, we should send love and gratitude in their direction, wherever and whenever possible.
As a lover of music and agreeable vibrations, sound is my foundation, a consistent therapy, and a key contributor to my peace. I felt moved to write this piece from the heart whilst channeling it from my most authentic and genuine space.
I’m also writing this whilst listening to Justin Tyson Live — Robert Glasper, Terrace Martin, and Christian Scott (Justice Aid Change Of Tone).

Robert Glasper is a pianist, music arranger/producer, and songwriter. He is pivotal to modern music, especially for his transformative jazz, hip-hop, neo-soul, gospel, and R&B fusions.
A storyteller through music, his compositions have rich narratives that connect instantly to your soul, emotions, and bodily functions. I don’t think I’ve yet succeeded at staying still when any of his creations are within listening distance. There should be a public notice placed on his music warning that you ‘WILL’ find your face performing an impromptu scrunch accompanied by a continuous head bob and producing the deeply intentional and hearty sound “Ooooooooooo” which only occurs when your soul agrees with ‘EVERYTHING’ captured within the tune.
